Play is the way to a child's heart and mind. At ¡Hola Hola niños! we embody this philosophy, designing language learning lessons that center around what children love: movement, music, stories, art, and play.
Our preschool Spanish immersion program is mobile! We travel to schools, co-ops, and day cares. We also offer group sessions for those who are interested.
Language and culture are intertwined. As children acquire Spanish, they will also learn about Hispanic culture and its diversity. Our curriculum carefully selects materials that celebrates Hispanic culture to help students not only learn how to speak Spanish, but also immerse themselves in the Hispanic culture.

My name is Jaclyn Kozlowski and estoy super felize (I am very happy) to welcome you to our Spanish immersion classroom! I am a bilingual mother of two niños of my own, John Luke (3) and Jacob (8 months). Our desire to teach our sons how to read, write, and communicate in multiple langauges birthed ¡Hola Hola niños!. My goal with this program is to create a bilingual generation, fostering a love for Spanish and foundation for language learning.
My journey with Spanish began in elementary school with an afterschool Spanish enrichment program. My exposure at an early age fostered a love for the language that blossomed as I continued to study, taking Latin American literature, history, and economics classes in Spanish while earning my degree in International Relations. I reached fluency by immersing myself in the language and culture, communicating, reading, writing, and translating on a daily basis.
After graduating with my B. A. and a minor in Spanish, I lived and worked in Honduras as a volunteer for the non-profit organization OYE (Organization of Youth Empowerment). While there, I developed an English language program, creating curriculum, assessing students, and teaching classes. When I returned to the United States, I pursued my Masters of Education in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). I continuned to teach English as a second langauge to adults at the community college level before begining my career as a lecturer in the Analytical Writing Program at UC San Diego. In 2020 my husband and I moved to Tampa, Florida to be closer to family and start one of our own. I continued to teach college writing, working as an adjunct professor at the University of Tampa. I have been working as an ESOL Resource teacher in Hillsborough County for the past five years, supporting students as they acquire English and serving as an advocate for Spanish speaking families in the community.
